Most of my initial list wouldn't have happen either. No one is shying away from trading their pick.

Chance of Shabazz going 6th > Noel, McLemore, Porter being 1,2,3

I'll wait until Wednesday, but I think it'll be Len - Oladipo - Porter in the top 3. Shabazz had average workouts so I don't see him going that high.

Bulls exploring a trade: Deng for 3rd pick and Okafor. The leader of the team goes away and Webster gets big competition on the SF spot, Leroy faints.

Ric Bucher reported a day ago that three league veterans are candidates to be in deals around the time of the draft - Granger, Deng and LMA. I was skeptical at first, because Doucher is almost always wrong, but with Deng in trade discussions I hope Rockets can somehow snatch LMA. Perfect fit and he said he would love to play in Houston. Oh no, not Emeka! :leader:

Somehow make it happen...

...add first round picks for next 15 years and T.Young and rights for Iverson. LaMarcus would be a good choice for Sixers coaching spot.

Trading LMA for this years pick and Tristan Thompson would make Blazers top contender for the D-League title.

Why would we want bum ass Deng? Him and his 35% FG's can fuck off.. Ariza would be ahead of him in the depth chart ffs

If I knew John Wall irl, we'd be BFF's imo. Too much in common not to be

Yes let's trade the present and the future of the team for some guy that sucks ass. Not to mention we have 9 forwards on the roster

It's gonna he another tanked/wasted year in an attempt to get free agents. Something we'll fail at it cause it's Washington

ur a turrible gm imo

Man, you really don't appreciate Deng's D, rebounding...

This draft doesn't have franchise changing guys, maybe 2-3 guys...

On the forwards spot, you're right...

Webster and Ariza, hmm I'm overthinking it now...

But we can get one of those franchise changers. Even if we dont, 20 year old tayshaun prince >>>>>>>> old Deng

Wall's D & rebounding > Deng
Beal's rebounding > Deng

If we trade for Deng, here comes another rebuild, in the middle of one Stephen A.

I'm tired of trade scenarios, just draft Tayshaun and stop

I've checked a few of those Draft Express scouting videos, mostly to check out European players that are projected to go in first. Lol they are awful.

- That Ante-popopulous-guy from Greece is your average walk on for a decent university like NC State. If I had to write a Good/Bad review it would look like this.
Good: He's black. He's long. He's 19.
Bad: Terrible at basketball. Lack of any game. Everything else.

- Karasev is your typical average European player. He'll end up just like Vesely or that other bum Clippers drafted a few years ago, Korolev. I feel bad for anyone drafting him.

- Mouhammadou Jaiteh - Leroy's 29th pick withdrew from this years draft. Lol.

- Dennis Schroeder - if you take Rondo's body, strip him off any skill and let him run against a bunch of white German "talents" of course he'll dominate. He could possibly learn something and be a Royal Ivey off the bench.

- Lucas Nogueira - Fab Melo

Also Nerlens Noel is nowhere near Larry Sanders (/all caps !!!). He has zero game. Meyers Leonard is Hakeem to Noel's Hasheem. He'll end up being another Sammy Dalembert.

International players are probably hyped to no end because no one ever saw them play more than a random game. My God are they awful. If these guys played NCAA hoops they would be laughed at for declaring early and leaving school.

D-League has better subs that play 10 mpg than any of these guys.

If I bother to do a 3.0 mock draft I'll remove them all.

tl;dr scouting

Porter has similar ceiling to Deng and the guy would be locked for 4 seasons on a $3.5 million per year deal. Wizards like to collect overpaid borderline All-Stars, though.

It's the 31st and 33rd pick for Pierce. Nobody in their right mind would give the no 1 pick for a 15-year veteran about to retire. It's a lowball offer, but still makes sense, because Celtics would create a $15 mil trade exception and get two young guys on non-guaranteed contracts. This draft is weak with top talent, but deep with role players, so anything between 15-40 is basically the same pick.

Considering he almost died a month ago, you can add 10 years on him

It'd be a stupid core anyways. John Wall 22, Brad Beal 20, Porter 20 (I think) vs Deng 28? No thx. We can stop collecting borderline all stars here

It doesn't take DX videos to realize that all these prospects have the same upside: Long Black Athletic.

Karasev is a great shooter, Vesely is just a waste. Adetokunbo and Schroeder are nobodies, there are thousands of better players in Europe, but they're black and athletic. FFS Adetokunbo plays in the 3rd division Greek league. They have no basketball skills whatsoever, or as the American scouts like to say, they're "raw with high potential". If you put sprinkles on a pile of shit, it's still shit.

And then a GM puts a blindfold and points at a random international 'prospect' and picks him up with mid-1st rd pick in hopes of landing Dirk.
Afterwards that ESPN retard screams Upside, Raw, Long, Prospect, Project... and team ends up with Nikoloz Tskitishvili.
Almost Dirk.

It's ok people, realgm forum people have saved the day

"Mike Wise tweeted he heard the rumor is crap, Bulls trying to drum up value. Cleveland talking trade for Paul Pierce is probably the main reason. Cleveland is an ideal partner for Chicago because they can make an unbalanced trade and have tons of draft picks and young players to cobble some sort of package together. Plus Cleveland clearly wants a vet SF to baby sit that roster."
